Session B
It’s time for coach training!
CTOM’s coach training B will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 and will be conducted remotely via Microsoft Teams. A variety of sessions for both beginner and seasoned coaches will be offered. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Schedule for the Day
- 8:00am-10:00am Opening Sessions
- New Coaches
- 8:00am-8:15am Log-in/troubleshooting
- 8:15am-10:00am Odyssey 101
- Returning Coaches
- 9:15am-9:30am Log-in/troubleshooting
- 9:30am-10:00am Opening session: Welcome and reminders
- 10:05am-11:05am Experienced Coach Panel (all coaches)
- 11:10am-12:10pm Breakout session (pick one)
- Coaching Verbal Spontaneous
- Think Like a Judge
- 12:15pm-12:45pm Meet with problem captain/assistant problem captain
- All problems except problem 3 will meet during this time.
- Coaches for teams solving problem 3 can meet with the problem captain/assistant problem captain on Wednesday, January 10 from 7:00-8:00pm.
You will select your breakout session when you register for training. More information about workshops can be found here.

If you are an experienced coach, we hope that you will attend! Not only will your participation enrich the training experience for the newer coaches, but we also feel that this training method will help you learn skills that can make your team(s) even more successful!
Please register by Friday, January 5th at 6PM. Registration will close at that time to ensure that all participants receive the meeting links.
